Are you an experienced outside sales representative with a passion for building relationships and driving growth? We want you to be a part of our specialized team servicing Associated Wholesale Grocers retailers, one of the largest in the country!

We’re on the lookout for a motivated Outside Sales Account Manager to cover the Memphis, TN area and surrounding markets, focusing on AWG grocery retailers. As a pivotal member of our team, you’ll forge strong connections with our valued customers, fostering growth and delivering exceptional service with an existing customer base as well as building new accounts.

  • Grow Your Portfolio: Expand existing accounts and acquire new ones within the AWG membership.
  • Provide Solutions: Offer innovative packaging and supplies solutions tailored to the needs of grocery stores and food processors.
  • Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with our team to meet sales targets and stay updated on industry trends and product offerings.
  • Customer Engagement: Foster strong relationships with customers through regular contact, including in-person meetings, calls, and emails.
  • Drive Sales: Actively pursue new opportunities, identify potential leads, and follow up diligently.
  • Strategic Planning: Assist in developing and executing sales strategies, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in outside sales or account management.
  • Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in grocery or convenience store sales preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Negotiation Skills: Proficient in negotiating and closing deals effectively.
  • Analytical Thinker: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Self-Motivated: Driven by results and motivated to succeed.
  • Bachelors (Preferred)
  • Sales: 3 year (Preferred)
  • Merchandising: 2 year (Preferred)
  • Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Account management: 2 year (Required)
  • Driver’s License (Required)
