We are searching for an enthusiastic and accomplished individual passionate about sales and customer service to join our team!

As the Showroom Sales Associate you will play a crucial part in providing exceptional customer service, managing showroom activities, and supporting various office and warehouse duties. Fluency in both English and Spanish is a preferred but not required.

  • $20.00 per hour
  • Full time, up to 40 hours per week, starting as early as 8:00am and may vary based on customer and/or company needs.

Customer Service-

  • Greet and assist customers promptly, ensuring a positive and professional experience.
  • Expedite customer needs efficiently, providing outstanding service.
  • Conduct engaging showroom sales consultations, building rapport with walk-in customers.
  • Maintain positive, long-term customer relationships.
  • Coordinate and communicate with warehouse staff for order pulling.
  • Invoice showroom orders accurately, ensuring adherence to billing policies.
  • Process and handle customer payments generated from showroom orders.
  • Support promotional showroom activities/events.
  • Manage showroom merchandise creatively, optimizing displays.

General/Cleaning Duties-

  • Assist in tasks as requested by the General Manager across different departments.
  • Manage and clean showroom/office floors regularly.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the customer entrance and showroom counter.
  • Ensure proper functioning of amenities in bathrooms.

Warehouse Duties-

  • Collaborate with warehouse staff to maintain accurate inventory counts.
  • Assist in maintaining the delivery routes calendar.
  • Support warehouse staff in various tasks, including receiving products and pulling customer orders.
  • Participate in annual physical inventory.

Office/Clerical Duties-

  • Answer phones and process customer orders.
  • Handle customer returns and pick-up orders.
  • Research and find viable substitutes for backorders.
  • Print and distribute customer statements promptly.
  • Assist sales and accounting teams with inquiries and collection calls.
  • Research and resolve customer invoice discrepancies.
  • Conduct cold calls to customers inactive for over 6 months.
  • 18 years of age or older.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in showroom, outside, or inside sales setting with face-to-face customer interaction is required.
  • Must be a team player but must also be able work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs regularly.
  • Excellent customer service and skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish is preferred but not required
  • Experience in the janitorial/paper industry preferred.
